A UN doctor and a local driver were wounded Tuesday when militants opened fire on a UN vehicle in Karachi,Southern Pakistan. "One of our drivers and one of our staff were hurt, but currently they are both stable," an official from the United Nations’ World Health Organisation (WHO) said. The vehicle was shot in the Soharb Goth neighborhood of eastern Karachi, according to local police. The doctor was working on a polio immunization campaign in Pakistan and was heading to a vaccination unit at an Afghan camp.
