An Egyptian consultant working for the United Nations was shot dead on Sunday while driving home, Egyptian security officials said in a press release. A security official said that the 41 year-old Egyptian woman, named Nermeen Gomaa Khalil, “was shot in broad daylight while driving on one of Cairo’s busiest streets in the neighborhood of Mohandiseen.”
