A member of the Sudanese opponent Umma party, Dr Mariam Sadiq al-Mahdi confirmed that the: \"Sudanese crisis is in a critical stage\". Dr Mariam highlights the militant dispute in the Blue Nile and Southern Kordofan and Darfur regions in her declaration to Arabstoday after meeting with the preparation committee for a peace conference in Sudan. The conference was adopted by the National Umma Party who are led by the former PM Sadiq al-Mahdi who said: \"the committee suggested the conference idea on Sudanese political trends which witnessed a great deal of interest from those trends.\" She added that the Tuesday meeting discussed how to unify the Sudanese political parties on Sudanese issues. Dr. Mariam blamed the ruling party for delaying talks with others about challenges facing the country. She said: \"Our crisis exceeds Darfur, South Kordofana, and the Blue Nile, extending to other places in the country\". \"The ruling party announced several times that it will not negotiate with others\" adding that Umma National party completely did its role waiting for political parties to participate in the initiative in order to avoid several dangers in Sudan\". Mariam Sadiq al-Mahdi also mentioned the people affected by dam construction in north Sudan who were fired from public service, \"all these issues mustn’t be postponed.\" The Revolutiuonary Front critisised el-Sadiq el-Madhi due to her latest warnings by stating: \"Overthrowing the Sudanese regime by force will lead to Sudan dismantling\". The Revolutionary Front accuses Sadiq el-Mahdi of trying to impose a trusteeship on others as a means of struggling to topple the regime. The Front strongly denied the presence of any official meeting between its leaders and Dr. Mariam the leader in Umma party in Kampala but she confirmed that she met The Sudan Liberation Army movement led by Minni Arko Minawi, the assistant of the former Sudanese President Abu al-Qasim Imam Al-Hajj and former governor of West Darfur accused the Sudanese government of not believing in peace and that it has allocated its budget for the wars. Hajj who separated from Khartoum stated: \"The front did not hold any official meeting with Dr. Mariem Sadiq el-Madhi during her visit to Kampala week ago. The Umma party signed an agreement with the Sudan Liberation Army movement led by Minni Arko Minawi but this doesn’t mean that she held talks with the Revolutionary Front.\"
