UK Prime Minister David Cameron will on Thursday host a high-level conference in London to discuss the future of Somalia. The conference will be attended by representatives from more than 50 governments and international organisations, including US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. Attendees will discuss issues of piracy, terrorism, conflict, poverty and famine. Global human rights campaign group Amnesty International have produced a briefing outlining  human rights abuses in Somalia. The group also called on delegates at the conference to focus on human rights and protection of civilians in the war-torn east African country.
