Macedonia's Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bujar Osmani has met Saqr Nasser Al Raisi, UAE Non-resident Ambassador to Macedonia, to convey UAE's views on the Gulf crisis.

The UAE envoy briefed the Macedonian deputy prime minister on the UAE's approach, and the reasons that led the quartet of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt to boycott Qatar, namely Doha's policies that destabilised the security and stability in the region and Arab countries, as well as its negative role in a series of regional and international issues.

The Macedonian official stressed the need for a diplomatic solution within the ambit of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
