Three people were confirmed dead after a plane crash in Al-Faw, an area of Sudan’s Gedaref state. The Minister of Agriculture Abdul Halim Ismail Al-Mutafi was also on the flight and survived the incident, Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported on Monday. According to SUNA, others were wounded and were transferred to Al-Faw hospital. The Minister of Agriculture was on an inspection tour in Al-Faw, which is Sudan’s largest agricultural area.
