Cairo – Salah El-Nagi
Cairo Airport authorities arrested five Egyptian passengers on Saturday upon their arrival by a Qatar airplane from Tehran, via transit at Doha. The passengers were attending the Islamic Awakening Conference held in Tehran last weekend. The authorities arrested them after being in suspect with 25 books which were found to be in their company. They neither accepted their books be examined by the authority nor be presented to the competent authorities. Meanwhile, as one of them stressed that the books contained just the content of the conference, authorities allowed them to leave with the books after realising that they were traded in the market and were available on the internet.
