Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed the responsibility for the attack that killed nine policemen and injured others in Lahore on Thursday. Taliban spokesman Ahsanullah Ahsan claimed the responsibility for the attack, saying it was revenge for the police torture of their fighters in prison and vowed more violence in the region. He spoke to the (Geo News) by telephone from an undisclosed location. The spokesman also threatened to carry out further attacks.
