The spokesman for the Sudanese foreign ministry, Ambassador Obaid Murawah, has announced that there have been contacts between the ministry, the Sudanese embassy in Juba, as well as the Petrodar Company. These contacts were initiated for facilitate the arrangement for sending a plane to transfer Sudanese working in the Petrodar oil company, which is based in Fulug oilfield in South Sudan, back to Khartoum. The ambassador added that this has taken place as the Southern government gave the 154 Sudanese working in Petrodar, 72 hours to leave. The Sudanese embassy in Juba stated that it had earlier informed all the Sudanese living in the South to register their names at the consulate, in order to organise their stay in a lawful and proper manner.
