Spanish police say they have arrested a suspected member of al-Qaeda in the eastern city of Valencia. An Interior Ministry statement says the man, whose name was not given, used the Internet to distribute videos designed to encourage terrorist acts. It said the arrest stems from a probe that began in February 2011. The suspect was arrested Tuesday morning on orders from an investigating magistrate in Madrid. No other details were immediately given.
