A bomb concealed in a garbage dump exploded in Allahabad, India, Wednesday killing at least six people and injuring a dozen others, police said. Eyewitnesses told Zee News some children were playing near the garbage dump when the bomb exploded about 4 p.m., local time. Four of the dead were children and two others were women, police said. Authorities immediately cordoned off the area around the blast site and placed the entire city on high alert. The explosion occurred in Allahabad\'s Kareli area where a large number of Muslims live, Pardaphash.com reported. Allahabad is one of the main holy cities of Hinduism.
