The Palestinian prisoner Zakrya Dawoud Eisa, released from an Israeli jail in August , died on Monday night at the age of 43 after a long struggle with cancer, according to the Palestinian Prisoner club’s statement. The statement also said that, Eisa who lived in Bethlehem got cancer when he was a prisoner in the Israeli jail, and was released due to humanitarian reasons as he battled the disease for nine years. It added that, Israel rejected Essa’s request for travel abroad for treatment, as he suffered from three kinds of cancer. Eisa served 10 years in the Israeli jail of his 16-year sentence on the charge of affiliation to the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.
