Labour Friends of Palestine & the Middle East, a London-based activist organisation is to run the Gaza Marathon in support of the UNRWA Summer Games for Palestinian children and LFPME.   The representatives, Del and Komal, will attempt the full Marathon (26.2 miles) and and the 10k run respectively.   "Neither of us have run any kind of race before - not even a 5k run so it will quite a formidable challenge.  As well as raising money - our participation will provide a good opportunity to raise awareness of the plight of Palestinian children and the situation in Gaza when we get back to the UK," said Del.   The runners are self-funding their trip.
