Israeli troops infiltrated east of Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, Wednesday at dawn. Eyewitnesses stated that special Israeli units were 200m inside the camp from the east, when the Palestinian resistance saw them and began to shoot. Al-Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades, the armed wing of the popular resistance, claimed responsibility for firing two mortars at the Israeli troops, which were located at east Maghazi camp. Witnesses reported hearing mutual gunfire between the Israeli forces and the Palestinian resistance, for a short period of time. Several military Israeli equipment and bulldozers had also penetrated east of Deir al-Balah city, Central Gaza, Tuesday evening, through Kissufim military gate. Eyewitnesses in the area stated that the bulldozers crossed the Kissufim military gate heading toward the citizens’ agricultural lands, where they began sweeping and scraping the lands, however, no casualties were reported. In addition, Israeli reconnaissance aircrafts towered heavily above the area. The eastern borders of the central governorate see similar Israeli incursions on daily basis, punctuated by acts of sweeping and scraping, in search of explosive devices.
