Farid Al-Deeb,  lawyer to ousted Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak’s family, said: “The Egyptian government pays all the expenses of the former president, Hosni Mumabar’s treatment, because he is prisoned on remand the issue of killing the protestors, and waste the public money. Al-Deeb confirmed in a press statement on Thursday evening that the former president used to get a monthly salary of EGP 93,000, because he was awarded a number of medals, including the prestigious “Star of Sinai”. Al-Deeb has objected to methods used by the civil claimants and lawyers representing victims’ families in the trial. The judge’s verdict regarding the protestors’ murder case has been postponed to 7 December.
