The Moroccan Centre for Energy, Sciences and Nuclear Technology denied reports about a suspected leak of its nuclear reactor. According to reports, the radioactive leakage took place in the research reactor in the city of Kenitra. This came as a human rights association in Morocco sent a message to the health and interior ministers asking them to open investigations into the reports. This message was based on a report published in a Spanish magazine. The Centre said in a statement on Thursday that they are keen to inform the public that the reactor is working normally and there was no records of such an incident.
