Moroccan MP Idris Radi attacked the government on Tuesday over its silence about reports that 25,000 Moroccan children have been smuggled out of the country and sold to Spain. Radi accused the government of being too busy marketing its ministers for the elections and not disclosing the facts. He added that the methods used for smuggling infants could equally be applied for terrorist purposes or the narcotics trade. Radi said this matter will create insecuirty among citizens who have children.   The situation is expected to escalate with severe repercussions. Areportage broadcast by Spain's Channel 3 and circulated by the international media has shaken public opinion in the two countries. It is likely to result in heated debate as the investigations continue which will include testimonies from the victims.
