King Mohammed VI has sent a message to King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, says Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on December 24.
The message was handed to the Saudi King during a meeting with Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Mohamed Boussaid, Minister of Economy and Finance at Al-Yamamah Royal Palace on Sunday, December 24.
The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, and Saudi high officials, including the Chief of the Royal Court Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Issa.
Bourita also met with Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs to discuss the “distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and latest regional and international developments,” reported Maghreb Arab Press (MAP).
On May 2, Bourita stressed the importance of strong relations between Morocco, Saudi Arabia, the Arab-Islamic world and the US during the Arab-Islamic-American Summit.
The summit marked the presence of the US President Donald Trump and leaders and representatives of 55 Arab and Muslim countries.
On the sidelines of the summit, Bourita reiterated the support of Morocco for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all Arab-Muslim countries in their initiatives aimed at strengthening solidarity between the countries of the Arab-Islamic world and the preservation of the interests of their peoples.
