Israeli authorities decided to close the key commercial crossing leading to the Gaza Strip for 48 hours starting from today because of Jewish holidays. Palestinian head of goods coordination committee in Gaza Strip Eng. Rayed Fatouh said Israeli occupation decided to close the Kerem Abu Salem crossing completely today and tomorrow. He said that Israel would permit around 280 truckloads of goods, including humanitarian aid, to enter the coastal enclave. Ten trucks would bring cement for construction projects sponsored by UNRWA as well as 20 new cars and limited quantities of domestic-use gas. The crossings are scheduled to reopen on Wednesday .
