Ahmed al-Modallal, Leader of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, described the new Israeli coalition government between  the Likud and Kadima parties as “a government of war par excellence\"  in reference to its composition of ministers, and former military men whom they describe as having committed \"bloody acts against the Palestinian people, and the Arab and Islamic nation.”   This new coalition will embrace the opposition Kadima leader Shaul Mofaz,  Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Ehud Barak, and Moshe Ya’alon, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Strategic Affairs in the Likud government. All three leaders have held top positions in the Israeli army at some point during the turbulent years of the Jewish state. The Israeli parliament has approved a coalition deal between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s centre-right  Likud party and the centrist Kadima party of Shaul Mofaz. The new government will have a majority of 94 in the 120-seat
