A soldier serving with the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) has been killed in a bomb explosion in southern Afghanistan. The soldier "died following an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in southern Afghanistan today (Wednesday morning)," the ISAF said in a statement. The latest casualty brings to 17 the number of US-led forces killed in Afghanistan so far this month, and to 237 the number of those forces killed since the beginning of 2012.
