Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif criticized US president Donald Trump’s weapons deals and military investments with Saudi Arabia on Sunday during a statement hours after Trump’s speech that encouraged leaders of Arab countries to cooperate in order to fight extremism, and lashing out on Iran for being a main supplier for the extremist groups.
“Iran just finished real elections and it is under attack by the president of the United States, home of democracy and moderation. Is it a foreign policy or just a way to get 480 billion dollars from Saudi Arabia” Zarif wrote in his Twitter account.
While in Gaza, “Hamas” refused Donald Trump comments describing Hamas as a terrorist group, confirming that, it is a national liberation movement that defends the Palestinians’ rights. Spokesman foe Hamas movement, Fawzy Barhom said on his Facebook account that, these comments are outrages and aim to discredit our movement and a complete prejudice to Israel, adding that, Hamas is a national resisting movement against Israel which conducts mass murder against Palestinians with US support.
