Two Kuwaitis have been arrested in the Abadan region of southwest Iran on suspicion of spying and illegal entry, a state television channel reported on Sunday. "Two Kuwaitis have been arrested in possession of spying materials," said Abdollah Kaabi, a local official in the town of Bahram Ilkhaszadeh, quoted by Iran's Arabic-language channel Al-Alam. The pair were "arrested two days ago and they entered Iran illegally," he said, without giving other details.
