A source has confirmed to Arabstoday that the prosecutor of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) issued a new decree adding a fifth accused of the assassination of the former prime minister Rafik Hariri. The source stated that the fifth accused was a leader in Lebanese outfit Hezbollah. Prime Minister Najib Mikati received the head of the Tribunal’s Beirut bureau, who gave Mikati the \"third annual report” issued by the head of the court and reported to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Lebanese officials. The Tribunal also announced that “the prosecutors requested amending the indictment; however, the content of the amended indictment is still confidential”.
