Prime Minister of the Palestinian government in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, called on Hamas and all the other Palestinian factions who are involved in the kidnapping case of the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit to stick to their own terms and conditions for the release of Palestinian prisoners, who have been waging a hunger strike for many days to protest against the Israeli policy in the prisons. Haniyeh said during the Friday prayers at Imam Shafi’i mosque in al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza city that “the world heard the name of the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, captured by the resistance and they are demanding  his release, but did not hear or know the suffering of the 7500 prisoners in the Israeli prisons.\"
