Algerian newspaper reported that Muammar Gaddafi has only gone once to the Algerian border,  in order to check the entry  of  his wife, Safia, his daughter Aisha and her two brothers Mohammed and Hannibal and some other members of the family. The newspaper added that Gaddafi did not request to enter Algeria; he only stayed near the Algerian-Libyan border waiting to make sure that the Algerian authorities would give the permission to his family to enter the country. Algeria announced on August 29th that it had allowed members of  Muammar Gaddafi to enter its territory and that they notified the UN Security Council,  in addition to members of the Transitional Council of Libyan officials, including Mahmoud Jibril.
