In a statement attributed to Ahmed Gaddaf Al-Dam, former coordinator of Egyptian-Libyan relations and Gaddafi\'s cousin, demands Libyans to accelerate reconciliation between each other, to forgive those who did injustice and to start a dialogue between Libyans as a whole. In the statement, he called on protesters and the transitional assembly to commence serious dialogue under international auspices. \"I am sure that Libyans will gather in public squares asking for such a dialogue. Dialogue will not succeed without the return of the hundreds of displaced people inside and outside the country and the release of thousands in prisons\", Gaddaf Al-Dam, who fled to Egypt, said in a statement reported by Aljazeera TV. It is worth mentioning that Gaddaf Al-Dam was very close to Muammar Gaddafi and was trusted by the former Libyan leader. Moreover, he announced his defection from Gaddafi in the first months of the revolution. However, the transitional assembly doubted his credibility and accused him of continuous support for Gaddafi through mercenaries. The interim Libyan government demanded Egypt to hand over the remnants of the former regime who fled to its territory.
