We are appealing your excellency to rapidly interfere to keep our family away from the sectarian war in Syria which is targeting scientists and great symbols including Prince Khaldoon the son of nuclear scientist Makki al-Husseini Algerie. We are requesting for you to take a rapid action to save the prince, we know well that you will not leave prominent scientists to be unfairly imprisoned.”  The family is aiming to achieve a rapid response from president Bouteflika through his good relations with the Syrian regime, where Algeria maintains a policy of non-interference in Syrian affairs.
