Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said on Tuesday, that his country will take a quick decision to impose sanctions on the Syrian regime. Erdogan said during an official visit to South Africa "we cannot afford to stand and watch what is happening in Syria. They kill innocent and unarmed people. We cannot say let’s leave things to go the way they are." he added: "We will announce a sanctions’ agenda after my visit to Hatay" in southern Turkey. He explained that he will soon visit, Hatay city near the Syrian borders, where thousands of Syrian refugees established camps after they fled from Syria. Turkey stopped last month a cargo ship was carrying weapons to Syria and announced that it will do the same to all weapons shipments heading to Syria. Rice said that "the United States is strongly dissatisfied with the complete failure of the Council” in it’s attempt to deal with " a serious moral challenge and a growing threat to the regional peace."
