Egyptians abroad began voting in the second round of Egypt’s parliamentary polls on Wednesday night, having been provided with ballot papers via the Supreme Electoral Commission’s website. The spokesman of the Egyptian foreign affairs ministry, Amr Roushdy said: “All of Egypt’s embassies abroad, in addition to 11 consulates around the world, will begin receiving marked ballot papers from expatriates starting from Thursday, until the afternoon of Monday, December 12.” Egypt\'s foreign minister has instructed the embassies and consulates to extend their work hours into the evening during the elections, Roshdy added.  Embassies and consulates will begin sorting ballots on Monday in the presence of representatives from Egyptian communities in their countries. The results will be sent to the Foreign Ministry in Cairo, which will then submit them to the High Election Commission.
