Egypt on Saturday condemned Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, calling on Israel to immediately end air strikes that have claimed the lives of at least 18 Palestinians since Friday. Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr said Egypt is \"deeply alarmed” by the Israeli attacks and demanded that they immediately stop, state news agency MENA reported on Saturday. Amr added that Egypt was trying to orchestrate a cease-fire to halt the violence. At least 18 Palestinians, including a 12-year-old child have been killed since Friday.
