At least 10 people were killed Saturday in unrelated incidents as a wave of violence swept Karachi since late last night. Police said that acts of violence took place in four different regions in the city, most prominently was New Karachi. According to the police report, Pakistani news service Pak tribune reported that unidentified armed men shot dead three people in North Karachi sector 5-C. Two men were also gunned down near a water pump in Karachi. Local markets near those areas were shut down. Police forces were continuing to scan the area for the gunmen.
