A source in al-Anbar police stated, Saturday, that 4 Iraqi soldiers were killed in an armed attack in central Fallujah, where unknown gunmen carrying machineguns fired at a military checkpoint. The source did not give more details. It is worth mentioning Al-Anbar governorate, and its provincial capital Ramadi, approximately 110 km west of Baghdad, sees continuous escalation of violence, although the Iraqi security forces carried out several raids in sites believed to contain militants who are responsible for the increasing assassinations.
