At least four security force members were killed and 20 others wounded in a suicide car bombing, in Chardara district of northern Kunduz province, according to TOLOnews channel.
The attack targeted a convoy of security forces arrived in the area to carry out a security operation against insurgents. Taliban movement claimed responsibility for the attack.
The northern and eastern states of Afghanistan have recently witnessed growing capabilities of the extremists, with field commanders often declaring their loyalty to ISIS terrorist organization.
