A source from the Afghan Ministry of the Interior has announced the assassination of Jan Mohammad Khan, a senior adviser Afghan President Hamid Karzai, and Hashim Otanwal, an MP from the Afghan House of Representatives, in a terrorist attack in Kabul. The event came in the wake of the killing of Ahmed Wali Karzai, the brother of Afghan President, and head of the regional council of Kandahar. He was the most powerful official in Southern Afghanistan.
