Insurgents bombed a house belonging to two policemen and their families in central Iraq, killing 10 people inside it, said Iraqi officials. A police officer says the attack took place early on Thursday morning in the Hamia area, about 50 kilometers south of Baghdad. He says the house where the two policemen brothers lived was leveled when insurgents planted bombs around it. Both policemen and two children under one years of age were among the dead. A doctor at a nearby hospital confirmed the causality figure. Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they are not authorized to release information.
