A unified office for the examination of food supplies at the Ajman Port and Customs

A unified office for the examination of food supplies at the Ajman Port and Customs, has opened to streamline collaboration and ensure synergy between the Department of Ports and Customs (DPC) and the Municipality and Planning Department (MPD) in Ajman, with the ultimate goal of achieving best quality assurance levels and boosting the emriate's investment environment.
The establishment of the office, inaugurated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of DPC, and Abdul Rahman Mohamed Al Nuaimi, Director General of MPD , comes in keeping with the directives of the H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, to ensure optimum public health and safety standards in line with the world best practices.
The office will be a stepping stone for ensuring full-fledged collaboration between all parties concerned with food and environmental safety in the emirate, DPC Chairman said, hailing the joint efforts made by the two departments to ensure an investment-friendly investment in the emirate.
MPD Director General underscored the importance of the new office in ensuring public safety and streamlining imported food screening measures.
