As part of the UAE's drive to upgrade the health services in Hadramaut, Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), donated modern medical equipment to Al Mukalla Mothers and Children Hospital on Saturday.
Director-General of the Hospital Dr. Abdul Hakim Mohammed bin Mubairek, while accepting the equipment, praised the ERC for its support to the various service sectors, including the health sector.
Abdullah Al Musafari, Head of the ERC team in Hadramaut, said the delivery of the medical devices to Al Mukalla Mothers and Children Hospital, "is part of the health and humanitarian efforts to improve services at public hospitals in Hadramaut. It is also part of the ERC efforts to reduce the burden on Yemeni citizens in the health sector."
"The ERC is committed to implementing humanitarian projects by providing relief and health services, and aiding infrastructure development in various liberated governorates, including Hadramaut, through a package of development and service projects in line with the directives of the wise leadership," Al Musafari added.
Director-General of Public Health and Population Office in Hadramaut Coast, Dr. Riad Al Jariri, appreciated the ERC's support to various service sectors, including the health sector.
