The three-day event

 Oman will be organising an event to showcase the growth and development of food and hospitality industries, which is expected to contribute largely to the country's Gross Domestic Product.

The 12th International Exhibition of Food and Beverage, Food Processing Technology, Kitchen and Catering Equipment, Packaging Systems, HORECA Furniture and Related Services (Food and Hospitality Oman 2017) will kick off at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on October 16, 2017. 

The three-day event will be organised by Oman Expo.

Food and Hospitality Oman is an international trade exhibition that serves as a business and networking platform for more than 150 local and international companies and industry takeholders which promote the latest products and services in the food and beverage, agriculture and fisheries, food processing technologies, kitchen and catering equipment, hotel supplies and equipment, and restaurant and cafe segments.

The exhibition will be associating with Food Safety Oman 2017.

This conference will provide an avenue for the exchange of ideas and strategies among policymakers and various stakeholders in the Sultanate on issues related to food policy and regulations taking into account the implications and the legitimate expectations of consumers, i.e. safety, healthy and nutritious.

The theme of the conference depicts the present need of a food secure nation in Oman and the urgency to pay attention to food safety in the Sultanate.

The two-day conference will attract experts from food and beverage (F&B) manufacturers, processors, producers, retailers, Catering & restaurant services, packaging and processing technology providers, vendors and government representatives to discuss the latest policies regulations, innovative approaches and technological advancements

for assurance of food safety and quality in the Sultanate.

Food Safety Oman 2017 conference provides an opportunity for those with different food safety responsibilities to learn, network, and see others' perspectives.

Speakers, with varying degrees of expertise in a variety of food safety fields, moderate the technical components of their presentations, so the audience as a whole gain useful "take home" messages.
