Ingredients     600g T-bone steak     salt and pepper     50ml olive oil     80ml barbecue sauce     For Dauphinoise potatoes     1 large potato, peeled and thinly sliced     1 garlic clove, finely chopped     fresh thyme, finely chopped     salt and pepper     50ml cream     10g Parmesan cheese, grated Preparation 1. To prepare Dauphinoise potatoes, preheat oven to 180°C. Mix together all the ingredients and spread evenly in a roasting tray. Cover with foil and cook in the oven for 30 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, massage the meat with salt, pepper and olive oil and leave for 20 minutes. Then place the steak in a hot pan and brush with barbecue sauce. Fry for three to four minutes then turn steak over and cook for another five minutes. 3. Remove steak from pan and leave on a tray for two to three minutes to rest the meat before serving with Dauphinoise potatoes.
