The Communications Directorate of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning organised an introductory workshop on Dubai International Forum for Project Management.
The workshop was held in the presence of the Roads Assistant Undersecretary Huda Fakhro, Financial Resources Director Nada Mustafa, Communications Director Fahad Buallay, Roads Planning & Design Director Kadhim Abdul Latif, Roads Projects & Maintenance Director Sayyed Bader Alawi and a number of engineers from the Ministry.
The event manager of the Dubai International Forum for Projects Management commended the strong sense of collaboration between Bahrain’s Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning and Dubai International Forum, which supports productivity and project implementation for Bahrain’s roads network.
Project Manager of Dubai International Forum for Project Management Ala’a Al Dein Haji delivered a presentation on project advantages, work mechanism and implementation methods, in addition to the work practised by the forum in the United Arab Emirates and what has been accomplished in Dubai, being a leading city in the project management industry.
Fakhro reiterated the importance of collaborating with mega companies such the Dubai International Forum, which can result in strengthening relations with other road systems in other countries in order to exchange expertise.
Buallay said that the introductory workshop was just at the right place, taking into account the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning’s excellence in project management in the regional level and being also a national model in this field.
This forum is to take place in October, including Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rahid Al Maktoom’s Prize for the Best Project on the Individual and Organizational Levels.
