Mahash Saeed Al Hameli, UAE Ambassador to South Africa, opened today 'Masakhini Elementary School' in the South African province of Gauteng.
The opening of the renovated school comes in line with the 'Year of Giving' initiative, launched by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The opening ceremony was attended by Kgalema Motlanthe, former President of South Africa, senior South African officials, Mubarak bin Salem Al Zakwani, Omani Ambassador to South Africa, Lt. Colonel Salem Al Kaabi, UAE Deputy Military Attache in Pretoria, representatives of chambers of commerce and industry and parents of the students.
