South African President Jacob Zuma arrived in Cairo late Wednesday.
Zuma is planned to meet with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to discuss boosting bilateral ties.
The South African leader is expected to invite Sisi to attend the African Summit, due in June in South Africa.
