On behalf of HM the King, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charity, Waqf, today arrived in Brunei Darussalam to attend the Golden Jubilee celebrations for the Sultan of Brunei, His Majesty Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
The visit represents a positive opportunity to build on already strong foundations through the development of additional areas of mutual interest.
Upon arrival, His Highness was welcomed by Pehin Dato Abd Rahman Ibrahim, Minister of Finance, Major General Pehin Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah , Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, and Dato Paduka Seri Hj Mohd Jammy bin Hj Muhd Shah Al-Islam, the Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force.
