Russia's National Security Adviser Nikolai Patruchev concluded a two-day visit to Egypt on Monday after talks with top officials.
The Russian official discussed with his Egyptian counterpart Fayza Abul Naga the recent regional developments as well as the ongoing war on terror groups.
Patruchev's meetings also focused on boosting cooperation at all levels, the Egyptian presidency said in a statement.
