Morocco’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Ahmed Rasheed Khutabi, today praised the royal keynote speech on the opening of the National Assembly’s new session, which focused on the national action trends, strengthening legislative action and improving parliamentary performance.

In a statement to Akbar Al-Khaleej, the ambassador said the royal speech was resolute in accentuating principles of Bahrain’s diplomacy and supporting Arab issues, chiefly the Palestinian cause for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.

He added the royal speech underlined Bahrain’s key role in advocating values of tolerance, coexistence and building bridges of friendship and humanitarian aid with many countries.
