Egyptian physician Mohamed Ghoneim won Tuesday the Arab Prize for Scientific Innovation for being the pioneer of kidney transplant in Egypt and the Middle East. Saeed Ahmed Lootah from the UAE won A prize for economic innovation, while the Kuwait Association for the Arab Childhood won another for the societal innovation and the National Center for Puppets in Tunisia got the prize for the media innovation. Bahraini artist Abdullah al-Mahraqi won the prize for the artistic innovation.
