His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan on being granted the Shield of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) in recognition of his landmark contribution to promoting the traditions of peace, tolerance and diversity.

The shield was conferred on HRH the Premier, during an annual FOWPAL ceremony held in New York, on the sidelines of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly meeting in New York, the US.

Humaidan hailed the FOWPAL honour which acknowledged HRH the Premier’s farsighted vision which contributed to Bahrain’s landmark development strides, under the reform process initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.

He lauded HRH the Premier’s contributions to Bahrain’s economic, social and urban landmark achievements, which earned him Arab and International appreciation and recognition.
