Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese left Cairo on Saturday on a tour of Sweden, Denmark and the US.

After the tour, the pope will head for Ethiopia on an amicable visit in response to a January visit by Pope Mathias of Ethiopia to Egypt.
