 Rich in tourist spots Oman offers remarkable opportunities in the field of hospitality, a new report has said.

A report released by BW Hotels Website of India said that the Sultanate represents a market offering remarkable opportunities in the field of hospitality. 

The report said that an additional 6,000 hotel rooms are expected to come up by 2020.

The new projects such as Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre and Muscat International Airport would contribute to the growth of the hotel and hospitality sector, the report added.

Last year Oman has seen the opening of Grand Millennium Hotel and reopening of Oman Sheraton Hotel following renovation works and the fourth quarter of 2017 would see the opening of Kempinski Hotel Muscat while Jumeirah Group would operate a grand resort in Muscat in 2017 which would be followed by WW Hotel in 2018, the report added.
